World Psychedelic Forum

At least since mid-'90s we are seeing a resurgence of interest in the study of entheogens as therapeutical and spiritual tools. Many crowded conferences and gatherings are held in the US and Europe, as happened in 2006 in Basel for the LSD Symposium organized in occurrence of the 100th birthday of the LSD discoverer Albert Hofmann. This year, in the same city, the Gaia Media Foundation organized the World Psychedelic Forum from March 21 to March 24, with the partecipation of more than 2000 attendees and about 50 lecturers (among them Stanislav Grof, Dennis McKenna, Alex Grey, Jonathan Ott, Kathleen Harrison, Rampuri Baba, Rick Doblin and Ralph Metzner...)
