Reggae blogs and downloads

Lately, riddims go very strong among reggae lovers. In a typical Jamaican style, several artists sing different melodies on the same base ('riddim'), showing their own individual sensibility and musical skillness. Old and new singers share the same notes and arrangements and thanks to their uncommon talent, the possible risks of monotony are totally avoided.

There're many blogs around completely dedicated to reggae music and in particular to the various riddims which keep on coming on an almost daily base; among them I would like to point out Jah School, a nice blog where it's possible to find riddims and reggae albums in general and freely download them (downloads are obviously intended for personal listening only and all the reggae bloggers strongly invite to support roots music buying albums and CDs...)

In the next future I'll give further reggae blog links for all the Jah music lovers...Meanwhile, I like to give you this link where among other musical genres you can find many reggae mixes and can immediately download ('descargar') them. For example, in Daily Bread (see image) you can find various riddims and songs by Ras Shiloh, Tarrus Riley, Glenn Washington, Cocoa Tea, Natural Black and a very long list of other old and new musicians.

(thanks to my old friend Maurizio - great music collector and reggae fanaticus - for his continuous input & support...IrieOm brother!)
