It was the apogee of the American (and international) counterculture of the 1960s, after which the energy and inspiration,of that great informal movement, for several reasons, began to fade away or simply took other, in some cases more underground, ways.
Just a tribute to those glorious fleety times of brotherhood, good vibes and peaceful fight for a better, more human world, with no regrets or nostalgia.....But if I had a time machine....!!
