Chappaqua (1967) is a little gem of the experimental/underground filmography of the 1960s. Written and directed by Conrad Rooks (and based on Rooks' experience with heroin addiction), Chappaqua features Jean Louis Barrault and cameo presences of William Burroughs, Allen Ginsberg, Swami Satchitananda, Moondog and Ornette Coleman. The soundtrack is by Ravi Shankar and The Fugs
