The Misty in Roots have been one of the most important and famous reggae bands born in England during the early seventies. Together with other punk and new wave groups they were part of the "Rock Against Racism" association which tried to fight back the ever growing racism during the Tatcher government.
Their albums "Live at Counter Eurovision"('79), "Wise and Foolish"('82), "Musy-O-Tunya"('85), "Earth"('83) and "Forward"('89) are all classics of the best militant roots reggae.
After several years of inactivity, they came back in 2002 with "Roots Controller"(on Real World label) and some live concerts.
They will play at the Glastonbury Festival on the 30th of March, 2008.
