About two weeks before the "World Psychedelic Forum" of Basel, another 'psychedelic event' started in Switzerland: the Psychonauten Exhibition held in the Giger Museum, the gallery/museum of the renowned Swiss visionary artist Hans R. Giger. Organized in honor of Albert Hofmann's 102nd birthday,the show began on March 8 and will be up until October 26; among the various selected painters, the visitors will see works by H.R. Giger, Ernst Fuchs, Albert Hofmann, Robert Venosa, Martina Hoffmann and Fred Weidmann.
The exhibition is opened every day from 10 a.m. to 6.30 p.m., tickets are Chf 12 (Eur 7.75) for adults and Chf 5 (Eur 3.30) for children; combined tickets for the Giger Museum and other exhibitions held in the upper Chateau de Gruyères (Castel of Gruyères) are Chf 14 (Eur 9.20).
