Today the international family of Bob Marley's friends and fans celebrate the 61st birthday anniversary of this great musician and spiritual leader. I was a very big fan when he was alive, was at one of the best - and crowded - concerts he gave in his too short career (in Milan, Italy: 100.000 people!) and still have a lot of his albums, Cds, photos, etc in my collection. Personally I celebrated today non-stop listening to some of his immortal anthems and bet that a lot of people did the same around the world.
Below you can see a nice picture made by Eric Allshouse and few photos of Bob's birthplace in Nine Miles, Jamaica, the small village where people can visit his native home and the mausoleum where he is buried (and possibly also share a giant ganja 'spliff' with some of the good rastas who act as tour guides...)
