Each September Erowid ( the most complete and reliable source of psychoactive drugs info on the web) tries to increase the number of donors banding together
to support reliable drug info, lab drug checking, & harm reduction in a single month. This year their goal is 1,249.

Founded in 1995, Erowid is a non-profit educational and harm-reduction organization and the leading web source for updated and unbiased info about psychoactive plants and chemicals and drug culture. As usual in September, Erowid has launched a new public support drive (Sept. 1 / Sept. 30th) trying to reach their goal of 1061 contributors during the month. Donations of $ 5 and higher will double, those $ 45 tripled and those $ 2000 quadrupled by a coinciding matching challenge. Supporting WAMM

Founded in 1993 in Santa Cruz, California, by Valerie and Mike Corral, the Wo/Men's Alliance for Medical Marijuana (WAMM) is the American oldest continuously operating medical cannabis collective. During more than 20 years  (facing persecution and raids ), WAMM has offered a safe haven to many ill people, creating a supportive community and suppling organic medicinal cannabis to seriously ill and dying patients with a doctor's reecommendation.
Now the WAMM site is in danger: they have to make large payments to avoid losing their land and gardens. Without the help of all sensible people, these brave pioneers could lose their lease and no longer be there for those most in need.To avoid this sad possibility, they've now launched a fundraising.

Helping the Pioneers

Nowadays, Ann & Sasha Shulgin undoubtedly are the most famous and beloved psychonauts and spokespersons of the international psychedelic community. Their well known  books Phikal and Thikal are two absolute masterpieces in the field of the psychedelic research and human evolution and their wise, articulate approach to the psychoactive substances and their uses is an absolute must for all the interested people, in particular  the younger generations of inner travelers....
But Ann & Sasha are two elders and like all the people of their age, they have to face several health problems. In the last few years Sasha in particular had a stroke, a ulcer on his left foot, severe sight problems and lately also early signs of dementia, mostly loss of short-term memory.
Due to Sasha's increased medical expenses, this beautiful duo is currently suffering from serious financial distress. Just thinking that such brave and lovable pioneers are in this bad situation makes me upset and very sad...
It's time to give a helping hand: please visit Ann and Sasha website and make a ( possibly generous) donation.

Currently Erowid is the world's largest and most visited online resource dedicated to psychoactive substances, providing and facilitating access to objective, accurate and non-judgmental information about plants, chemicals, technologies and related issues that affect the mind, body and culture.
