Other Worlds

Jan Kounen (b. 1962 in Utrecht, The Netherlands) is a Dutch-born French film maker and producer well known for his 2004 movie Blueberry: L'Experience Secret (aka Renegade). Jan has ever had an intense interest for shamanism and psychoactive plants, in particular ayahuasca, with which he became familiar during his trips in Peru.
In 2004 he realized Other Worlds, a documentary dedicated to this plant teacher and its tradition use among the Shipibo population of the Peruvian Amazon....
