Nowadays, strangely enough, if you're searching for real good reggae music, in particular the most 'conscious' and spiritual 'roots reggae', often you have to look outside Jamaica....For example Saint Croix, an island in the Caribbean Sea (and a county and constituent district of the Virgin Islands) with a lively rasta community.
From there come Midnite and more recently Abja, a very interesting singer, songwriter and producer, whose latest album is Songs Fa Jah. Strongly recommended to all roots reggae lovers...
