Ibogaine - Rite of Passage

Bwiti is an African sincretic religion or spiritual discipline followed by some populations of Gabon and Cameroon. Its main sacrament is the root bark of the Tabernanthe iboga plant which provokes profound entheogen effects during rite of passage ceremonies, initiation rites and healing acts. Albeit overlooked by the pharmaceutical mafia and even illegal in some European countries and in US, the psychoactive principle of the plant - ibogaine - is currently successfully used in treating severe addictions to heroin, cocaine, meth or alcohol (and possibly nicotine) and depression and PTSD.
Ibogaine - Rite of Passage is a revealing documentary about this promising medicine/therapy. See here part 1 of 6
