Franciscus Johannes Gijsbertus van den Berg, best known as Johfra Bosschart (born in Rotterdam, The Nertherlands, in 1919) was a Dutch visionary artist. Together with his wife (and artist) Ellen Lorien he relocated in Fleurac (France), where he lived and painted until his death in 1998.
Johfra described his art as "surrealism based on studies on psychology, religion, the Bible, astrology, antiquity, magic, witchcraft, mythology and occultism."
