Nov. 30 1936 - Apr. 12 1989
Abbie was a co-founder of the Yippies, a relentless revolutionary activist, a visionary and media manipulator and author of thought-provoking books like "Revolution for the Hell of It" (1968), "Woodstock Nation" (1969), "Steal This Book£ (1971) and "To America with Love: Letters from the Underground" (1976).
Read here to learn about (or remember) this iconic figure of the revolutionary sixties....

( from l to r: Tom Forçade - founder of Underground Press Syndicate and High Times magazine - Mayer Vishner and Abbie at a Yippie press conference, 1971 )
