Marcus Robbin's "Last Hippie Standing"(2000) is a documentary celebrating Goa, the legendary hippie mecca of the 60's/70s that evolved in one of the capitals of the international rave/trance culture in the 1990s and still survives nowadays as a preferred destination for a moltitude of people in search of esotic beaches, full-moon parties, drugs and possibly a little of the old 'peace and love' vibe.....Despite police repression and commercial exploitation of the place, a spark of the old spirit is still alive and some of the hippie pioneers still live there...Goa is not a place, Goa is a state of mind.....
