In accordance with zodiacal position of the planets, Kumbha Mela festivals are held in different holy locations in India. The "Maha Kumbha Mela" (Great Kumbha Mela), which gathers millions of people, is held every twelve years, but a great mass of pilgrims, sadhus, ascetics and travelers also congregate for the Ardh Kumbha Melas (every six years) or other minor Kumbh celebrations. Depending on the position of some plamntes, the spiritual gathering is held by rotation in the holy cities of Allahbad, Nashik, Haridwar and Ujjain.
This video is about the mela (pilgrimage) held in Ujjain in 2016.
