Two Books for Heads and Rockers

If you are intrigued by the history of psychedelics, in particular by the modern pioneers in the field, you may be interested in the exciting biography of Michael Hollingshead, a key figure in the American and English early LSD scene. An English guy come out from nowhere, he initiated Tim Leary to acid in 1962, then imbarked on a mission to promote acid as a powerful therapeutic and spiritual mean to achieve self-realization. Considered  a sort of psychedelic guru or cosmic trickster by many, by others just as a conman or even a spy or a secret agent ( in the same way of Al Hubbard, another elusive psychedelic 'missionaire') Hollingshead's little known and partly mysterious life surely deserved a book and now the brilliant English writer and psychedelic historian Andy Roberts ( "Albion Dreaming: A Popular History of LSD in Britain" ;"Acid Drops") has gifted us " Divine Rascal: On the Trail of LSD's Cosmic Courier Michael Hollingshead ", a well researched and engaging book, a must read for the psychedelic enthusiasts and curious and intelligent people in general.
You can order this book here or through the usual vendors

Old and new Rolling Stones' fans can't miss "Stoned: Photographs & Treasures from Life with the Rolling Stones" by Ron Wood's former wife Jo Wood. Partly an autobiographic book and partly a photo book, Jo's latest book features over  500 unpublished photos, anedocts, diary entries and artworks. Jo lived the ups and downs of the decadent, glamourous rock star life for 30 years and her first hand account promises to be a very intriguing reading and a sumptuous feast for the eyes!
"This book is a celebration of my family and friends, a thank you to my past, and a look into a rock'n roll moment in time.)
