Matteo Guarnaccia has left his body and is now flying 'across the universe'. A personal friend and a talented cartoonist, graphic artist and prolific author, he was a preminent figure of the Italian alternative and psychedelic scene. In the early '70s he published the highly visionary "Insekten Sekte" magazine and continued to draw, paint and to organize art exhibitions and cultural pevents until recent times. He wrote many beautifully illustrated books about the '60s, the underground press, the hippie Amsterdam, rock music fashion etc. and was an amazing archivist of the visionary and marginal cultures throughout history. He has died in Milano at the age of 67.
Rest in peace and fly high dear brother...You will be missed
