Chappaqua

Written and directed by Conrad Rooks, starring the director himself, Jean-Louis Barrault, and with cameos bye William S. Burroughs and Allen Ginsberg, Chappaqua (1966) is a legendary underground cult movie, based on Rooks experience with heroin addiction. The movie soundtrack is by the sitar virtuoso Ravi Shankar ( but  Ornette Coleman's music is also included in the movie soundtrack album. )
