Theo Jansen's Kinetik Sculptures

Dutch artist Theo Jansen creates mesmerizing kinetik sculptures and builds strandbeests from yellow tubing. His fantastic creatures evolve over time as Theo adapts their design to harness the wind more efficiently. They're powered only by the wind and even store some of the wind's energy in plastic bottle 'stomachs' to be used when there's no wind.
