The icaros are hypnotic/enchanting chants sung by Amazonian shamans during the ayahuasca ceremonies and used to invoke spirits and allies, to induce visions and to increase or lower the participants' energy...Usually the icaros melody comes to shamans in dreams or during the ceremony itself.
This icaro in particular is a little harmonized and 'arranged' with the help of string instruments, nonetheless it's a good example - together with the ayahuasca-like 'visions - of the enchanting and mesmerizing power of these healing shamanic chants....
