Rampuri Baba

Rampuri Baba is an interesting character indeed. Born in California, Rampuri lives in India since the 1970, when he was the first Westerner to be initiated into India's most ancient order of yogis, the Naga babas.
During his long discipleship in that mystical and sometimes "extreme" world, he received traditional teachings in mantra, tantra, sacred speech, ritual, ayurveda and other yoga practices and techniques.
In 1984 he has founded the Hari Puri Ashram in the Himalayan foothill town of Haridwar and currently he divides his time between the ashram, the sacred city of Ujjain and Goa.You can also regularly find him in his camp at the various Kumbha Mela...
Rampuri gave a speech at the World Psychedelic Forum held in Basel (Switzerland) in 2008 and he is author of Autobiography of a Sadhu (2005).
Visit Rampuri's website here and watch him presenting his new book Matrix of Sacred Speech
